Although I've been MIA for the entire summer, so much has happened.
In April I finally graduated from Florida State. This means I'm an official Meteorologist! The family and my bff Ali came up and it was just a grand ole' time!
Soon after graduation, I went on Summer Project with Campus Crusade for Christ to Salerno Italy. This was an unforgettable experience to say the least. I learned so much about myself and grew in my walk with the Lord. Seeing God show up on the university in Salerno was priceless, despite all the worries of support raising.
Once I returned from Italy, I dove right into the job search. After a few phone interviews with a station in California, I got rejected and was totally bummed out. A few weeks later, I got a phone call from a NBC affiliate in Zanesville, Ohio about a morning meteorologist position. Needless to say, I took the job and am now a resident of Zanesville, Ohio!! It's a small little town about an hour east of Columbus. I haven't started the job yet, but looking forward to what it's store for me here.
This was like a overload of life updates, but it's better now than never. I will try to keep up with this thing and entertain everyone with the story of a Florida girl trying to take on the mid-west!
