Although I haven't quit entered into the social scene of this town, I can honestly say it is better than I expected.
This is a photo of the downtown area (click and it gets better). I really like this picture best because you can see the trees in the back with all the fall colors. I can't wait for the tree's here to start changing colors!!! Seriously, one of my favorite things of all time are autumn's browns, reds and yellows.
I really really love my job so far. It's just so fun, and I know it's fun because the time flies by. Dispite waking up at 2:15am, which forces me to go to bed by 7:30pm, it's great.
"I'm so blessed" is one of the cheesiest sayings of all time. But I just can't help it. All of the encouraging phone calls, texts, and Facebook comments are, at some points, the only thing that keep me from home-sick-ness-tears. Living alone is something that I've underestimated. But thankfully, I always have a friend just a phone call away.
The church search continues tomorrow, wish me luck!
